Headteacher's Welcome

A very warm welcome to Bromham Church of England Primary School. As Headteacher, I am immensely proud to lead such a vibrant and caring school community.

You can find us in the village of Bromham; a large village located about 3 miles west of Bedford town centre.

Our school cares for approximately 500 children and although this means we are a ‘large’ primary school, we work hard to create the feeling of a small school community where we know each child well, enabling each of them to achieve their best. 

We are split across two close sites; our younger children in Reception and Year 1 are based at Village Road, while pupils in Years 2 to 6 learn at Grange Lane.

Guided by our talented team of teachers and support staff, we offer an engaging and challenging curriculum enriched by many opportunities beyond the curriculum in areas such as sport, volunteering, and leadership.

We focus on nurturing the whole child through our Christian Values: Respect, Resilience, Agape, Happiness, Quality, Creativity, Service, Forgiveness, Trust, Compassion, and Courage.

By building ties with our local community, we instil a sense of togetherness and pride in our school identity. Supported by a dedicated governing body, our staff strive every day to give every child the strongest possible foundation for their education whilst ensuring that every one our children feel safe, work hard, and are happy.
