Siobhan Barnes has been Chair of Governors for the past 4 years and a member of the Governing Body for 6 years. Whilst serving as chair, has completed the programme run by Bedford Borough linking leadership and Governance. She combines this with her role as buyer for a major retail supermarket.

Councillor Roger Rigby is a representative of Bromham & Biddenham Ward and Deputy Group Leader. He was first elected in 2000. He brought with him to the Council a lifetime of practical small business experience from his family hairdressing businesses in Bedford.
Louise Elphick is a chartered accountant & tax advisor working for a multinational organisation. She uses her analytical skills for her role on the finance committee and in analysing assessment data for the school. She has completed a self-evaluation of the Governing Body as we seek to continually improve.

Maria Hutchinson is an education consultant, specialising in mentoring Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and unqualified teachers, supporting literacy coordinators and upper primary leaders. She has held senior leadership roles in schools and is supporting our school in becoming an outstanding primary.

Emma Harrison is a foundation governor and helps support the Christian ethos of the school. She works part time as a farm secretary in the local area so has a broad knowledge of finance issues from daily bookkeeping to budgeting and financial reports, and also is involved with the estate management.
Nichola Herron is an IT manager with a broad knowledge of Human Resources, project management, resourcing, budget monitoring and setting aims, objectives and targets. She has experience of working within the Public Sector (including Local Authorities) and at large multi-national private companies.
Sarah Smale has been a Foundation Governor since 2010. She has a background in banking having spent 12 years in Corporate Finance. She has recently undertaken financial budgeting for the transition to Primary status endeavouring to ensure the school is in the best possible financial position.
Judith Denyer has been a foundation governor since 2006. She currently works supporting adults with learning disabilities, which complements her role as SEND governor. Previous experience includes retail management, IT, PA to a company chairman and Benefice Admin to three churches including St Owen’s.
Michelle Rodger worked at Bromham Lower (now Primary) for 17 years in several roles and has a wealth of knowledge about the school. During some of that time she was the Non Teaching Staff Governor. On leaving the school in 2015 she was invited to become a Co-Opted Governor.
Kathleen Mortlock is a retired teacher with many years experience working in the primary sector especially with Early Years children. She has also worked in adult education teaching English to college pupils where it was their second language. She has experience teaching abroad and in the private sector.
Amy Perrett's role is to ensure staff views are represented in discussions and to ensure the governing body knows how matters being discussed may affect staff. As Assistant Head, Amy reports on Key Stage 2 and English and as RE Subject Leader has specific responsibility for our school as a Church school.

Graham Sturge's three children have all attended Bromham Primary, and he is currently Vice Chair of the Governing Body. Graham runs his own business and his expertise as a qualified Quantity Surveyor has enabled him to effectively support the school during the building project.
Eddie Kirk is a Deputy Headteacher in a primary school. He has taught throughout Key Stage 1 and 2 and held senior leader positions in a number of schools. Eddie has supported other schools while working as an English teaching advisor and supports Bromham Primary in achieving the best for all pupils.
Elaine Cook is a Police officer in the Safeguarding Unit of Bedfordshire Police based in Luton. She has been a parent governor for the past 3 years and uses her skills to ensure that our school complies with the Safeguarding of children and that our Policies are relevant and up to date.
